Mortons 2007 reunion

2007 Reunion Aug 15-19, Seattle WA                    Submitted by John Kieft (FTG3, '65-'67) USS MORTON Reunion Coordinator The USS MORTON's 6th Reunion will be held at the Holiday Inn Select in Renton, WA (just outside of Seattle). The Holiday Inn Select is perhaps the nicest hotel we have been to.  We have reserved 50 rooms for the 4 days at the rate of $91.00 per night, plus 12.6% state tax.  That may seem a little steep compared to our last few venues, but I negotiated this to include a complete buffet breakfast for two, per room, served in our hospitality room.  The hotel rooms are all non-smoking, but smoking is allowed in the bar, and by the pool.  The rate is good for three days prior, and for three days after our event, for those who wish to prolong their stay.  The reservation method will be by individual call-in and the hotel is now taking reservations.  Call them at 425-226-7700.  Tell them the name of the group, and you should get the rate of $91.00 per day plus tax.  Even if you're not absolutely certain that you will attend, you should consider making a reservation now, as long as you are able to cancel it later if things don't work out.
