At left some of the galley crew and mess cooks gather for the camara during a break from mess duty. It was 1975 in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The large crane in the right hand portion of the photo is inactive and was a part of the ship yard years before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941. Tho not used it is a monument from that day not to be forgot.
