At left some of the galley crew and mess cooks gather for the camara during a break
from mess duty. It was 1975 in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The large crane
in the right hand portion of the photo is inactive and was a part of the ship
yard years before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941. Tho not
used it is a monument from that day not to be forgot. |
Scott Miller on board 1975-1976. |
BEQ, ( bachelors enlisted quarters) where the crew stayed while the ship was in the
yards during an overhaul in 1975. Up until 1974 this had been the WAVE barricks. |
Friends Richard, and Steve Crow at Pali Lookout. In Hawaii there were plenty of places
to see and the nicest beaches in the world. |

Tim Weems and Brousard. If anyone can help with names it would be appreciated. |
